I’d like to drive that Cadillac about 2 miles  just so I can say I’ve driven it.

Then I want to be chauffeured around town awhile.

No the US only got 3 speed slushfest automatics. I think in the UK they could be had in 4-speed manual but those are pretty rare.

I’m a total manual guy and they would definitely benefit from more gears but really the auto suits what the car is about. It’s definitely a sport sedan compared to anything Cadillac made but it’s no e28.

I timed 0-60 at around 14 seconds the other day, and yet I have no trouble keeping up with traffic and she has no trouble reaching 85-90 MPH.

I’m torn between your vintage of XJ, E28 and JZX90 when it comes to big sedans...
